The Intermodal Map can only be used with Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge und Google Chrome. With older browsers the visualisation cannot be guaranteed because their security might not be up-to-date or there are not refined anymore.
Sometimes trains are reorganised at upstreamed shunting yards before reaching their final destinations. Thus, it is unsure until this last shunting process in which terminal the cargo will be handled. Therefore, it is not possible to determine exactly to which terminal this relation will lead. This occurence is usually seen in proximity to seaports because there are multiple terminals close by. Examples for this are Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Antwerp.
